I highly recommend it.

This book should be required reading in every introductory department of education class whether at undergraduate/graduate level. It is especially important for those students who are interested in or assigned to low income inner city settings. I highly recommend it.

This book is profound and one of the best and most relevant books I have read
By Amazon Customer
This book is profound and one of the best and most relevant books I have read. Now, we need to get it into the hands of teachers, principals and those interested in teaching children of color and those in poverty. I am using it for a six page book report for my doctoral class and I can't capture all of the great work included. Excellent job!
