I'm over the moon IN LOVE with The Deal

What in the world took me so long to read this?! I'm over the moon IN LOVE with The Deal! In fact, I've purchased the audiobook companion and I'm ready to give it another read, I loved it so much. Garrett has joined the very long list of book boyfriend contenders and Hannah is one of the best female protagonists I've had the pleasure of reading in the New Adult genre. I'm pretty sure my cheeks will be sore from all the smiling this book has caused.

The Deal could have easily been the stereotypical college romance - star athlete falls in love with the not so popular artsy girl, but that's not the case whatsoever. Hannah and Garrett are an unlikely pair, though their attraction isn't immediate. It's built upon a solid foundation of friendship and trust. Both are dealing with baggage from their past but neither lets it define who they are and where they're going, these characters are grounded and know what they want in life. It's such a refreshment to come across strong, mature, and relatable characters who can also show us a good time with humor and flirty bickering. I couldn't get enough of these two.

Besides the characters, the writing is excellent and the storyline is pure awesomeness. It has the right amount of push and pull between characters with a healthy does of heat and humor sprinkled in, making this an A+ concoction. I can't recommend this book enough!

I am literally beating myself up for letting this book sit on my Kindle for so long unread!!! I bought it back in December 2015. Since then I have seen so many people rant and rave over how much they love this book, actually the whole series. Hyped up books always cause me to be hesitant to pick them up; add on top of that this one being a sports romance, which is not my favorite subgenera. But omg I am so in LOVE with this book and so many of the characters.

Hannah is such a strong, awe inspiring woman. After what she has been through, she still has a heart of gold. And Garrett, this man is just ugggghhhhh......PURE PERFECTION!!! The fact that he has a sensitive side was just the icing on the cake. I haven't read a lot of books that show the kind of emotions Garrett let us see. He has most definitely found his way on my top book boyfriend's list.

I am so happy I finally read this book. Elle Kennedy is an amazing author and I am most definitely a huge fan of hers now.

HOT HOCKEY GUYS!!!

I did a binge read of The Deal and The Mistake before The Score comes out. This was my second go around for the both of them and man, I must have been in lala land when I read them last time, or in the middle of too much adulting to really grasp the greatness of these novels.

I absolutely LOVED The Deal, I mean I liked it before, but must have been in a different head space, because these babies are going on my AllTimeFavorites List!!

Kennedy's writing is perfect, and when most NA books tend to be a bit to immature for my liking this one was believable and entertaining.

Garrett and Hannah's chemistry is HOT! and the BANTER!! YES!!. I'm usually not a fan of egotistical meat-heads but I would take Garrett Graham any day, and the fact that Hannah didn't fall for his charms and drool at this every attention was the icing on the cake.

LOVE LOVE LOVE This book!! MUST READ!

This is an excellent resource in exploring the development of bulimia. The author looks at theory and empirical research through his own contributions and the contributions of other scholars in the field.

Much of the chapter articles stem from the 1990 Ken Psychology Forum.

The chapters range over many developmental factors and consider questions and possibilities in terms of developing bulimia. It's a book that is useful for professionals in the field and as a text book for graduate students.

I particularly appreciated looking at the questions asked and the range of possibilities to think about in terms of approaching answers.

Bradley R. Schiller has over four decades of experience teaching introductory economics at American University, the University of California (Berkeley and Santa Cruz), the University of Maryland, and the University of Nevada (Reno). He has given guest lectures at more than 300 colleges ranging from Fresno, California, to Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Schiller's unique contribution to teaching is his ability to relate basic principles to current socioeconomic problems, institutions, and public policy decisions. This perspective is evident throughout Essentials of Economics. Dr. Schiller derives this policy focus from his extensive experience as a Washington consultant. He has been a consultant to most major federal agencies, many congressional committees, and political candidates. In addition, he has evaluated scores of government programs and helped design others. His studies of income inequality, poverty, discrimination, training programs, tax reform, pensions, welfare, Social Security, and lifetime wage patterns have appeared in both professional journals and popular media. Dr. Schiller is also a frequent commentator on economic policy for television, radio, and newspapers. Dr. Schiller received his PhD from Harvard and his BA degree, with great distinction, from the University of California (Berkeley). When not teaching, writing, or consulting, Professor Schiller is typically on a tennis court, schussing down a ski slope, or enjoying the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe.

About the Author
Barbara J. Wendling, MA, has years of clinical experience as an educator and diagnostician in public school settings in both general and special education. Additionally, she has taught university courses, worked in educational and test publishing, and is currently an educational consultant.

Nancy Mather, PhD, is a coauthor of the Woodcock-Johnson� III (WJ III) and has authored or coauthored numerous publications, including Woodcock-Johnson� III: Reports, Recommendations, and Strategies, published by Wiley. She is a Professor at the University of Arizona.

This should be a book in all classrooms as well as special education classrooms!

I got it for a grad class I teach on educational testing and have been using it for several years. My students report that they never return this book and find it useful themselves and in working with mainstream teachers.

Excellent book and all the research that contains makes this a very valuable resource. The CD includes also a great program to get information about the effects of language and culture in learning disabilities.
