About the Author
Chris Allen is a Toronto based real estate entrepreneur who is on the move. He is the published author of The Book on Toronto Real Estate and has taken the Real Estate community by storm. His focus on commercial and investment real estate with Slavens & Associates Real Estate Inc. has earned him notice from the Toronto Real Estate Board: Young Professional Network and a segment with CTV’s Kevin Newman, on business leadership as well as CBC regarding philanthropy work. Prior to entering real estate Allen spent nearly 10 years with the Canadian Forces. A veteran of the Afghanistan mission he was awarded the General Campaign Star for service in South West Asia with LdSH(RC). He credits his service with having taught him the first hand meaning of integrity, discipline, and perseverance. Qualities he was able to carry with him into his career in real estate. In July 2012 he teamed up with George Ross, Executive Vice President and Senior Council of the Trump organization, and star of the hit Television Show the Apprentice, when George became his strategic advisor. Later on he was tapped to join the Canada National Defense Policy Committee alongside with Chris Alexander Parliamentary Secretary for Defense. An honor, which would allow him to put his knowledge of the forces, and business to work towards helping shape Canada’s defense policy. He has also worked with numerous celebrities and athletes including JT Foxx serial entrepreneur, radio personality and NY Times bestselling author Raymond Aaron.

Great Book! Great Person!

As someone who was educated in property more than 20 years ago in the UK and has only been to Toronto a few times I was looking for a good insight into the market. Chris has the skill to present key information in a format that is both accessible and enjoyable to read.
It is not just the information that is accessible. As the book was a gift, I did not have the purchase code to access the extra spreadsheets that came with it. I wrote to Chris and I was genuinely surprised when he contacted me personally and sent me everything I needed. He has since kept in contact and I look forward to meeting Chris and his team the next time I am in Toronto. How many authors would do this?

Clear and Well structured.

The best part about this book is it's applicable anywhere in the GTA and to Real Estate in general. It won't take forever and a day to read, and It clearly portrays the nuances of buying, selling and investing in real estate to anyone, not just those versed in the profession. Chris knows how to say things in writing, great job!
